Resort Reviews for La Cabana Aruba

We have friends w/3 children that have gone to Aruba for 4 sprng brks with consistently pleased results. We gave it a try and agree. Wonderful beaches, fun choices of activities that were easy to manage and filled up the days just right, can walk for miles on the shore, laid back yet efficient.Resort is well located. Many restrnt choices if you don't cook in. We combined 2 units so had great space for the 4 of us. Teen loved having his own "studio". Balconies off both with superb views. Our unit had just been remodeled w/great bathrooms and kitchen. Very clean and nicely appointed. Flght home had long layover that we turned into a fun overnight in D.C., a bonus mini vaca that made the rough return fun. Solid easy trip that we'll repeat.

We have been to Aruba 7 times and stayed at LaCabana every time. We have, in general, enjoyed ourselves. We've made many friends during weeks 16/17 and have never had any problems with the staff of LaCabana. We plan on coming back again. One thing that anyone taking a timeshare tour should understand - BlueGreen owns only 20% of the rooms, Inteval owns 20%, and LaCabana owns 60%. You can buy a timeshare that is deeded from LaCabana members who are selling. If you decide to buy points from BG be aware that you may not be able to get into LaCabana. With Interval we have always been able to trade in, and if there is ever a time that we can't, then we can get into 1 of 17 others on the island. BG is only at LaCabana. Talk to LCB owners services

We left our hotel room at 7:30 pm for a wonderful evening out. We arrived back at midnight to find a form letter outside of our room to inform us that we were changing rooms. Upon inquiring with the desk apparently the hotel knew for sometime we would have to vacate our room. Having a trip planned for the next morning meant everything needed to be repacked at one in the morning. A very unpleasant surprise indeed. The front desk maintained they knew all along. if so.why didn't we know upon check in so that we weren't faced with repacking on day three of our four night stay.? ??? We wouldn't stay here again.

La Cabana is an excellent place for people wanting an Aruba vacation with local flare.this resort is so much better than staying in the American high rises.

Aruba, by far, is the most beautiful place in the Caribbean and La Cabana is the best Resort. You are treated like one of the family in a resort that has everything you could ever want to help you enjoy and relax on vacation. I love it.
