Imagine setting sail for the island of Anguilla where you'll drop anchor at Prickly Pear Cays. You can get wet in the crystal clear turquoise waters, a paradise with many turtles and rays. Imagine pulling up the anchor and setting sail for Crocus Bay, a part of the Anguilla Marine National Park. The fish and bird life is astounding. Imagine hoisting the main sail and heading for an exhilarating downwind sail through the reefs protecting Orient Bay. You drop anchor at Isle Pinel, a beautiful small island where you can take sunset with cocktails and snacks on the beach before dinner. And that is not even half the cruise! Stop dreaming, start planning and sail with Trade Winds Cruise Club-St. Martin.
Sail the waters and circle the islands! TradeWinds has been perfecting the art of this unique water-based, luxury vacation experience since 1999 and now sails 20+ gleaming white catamaran yachts with a choice of many different itineries: British Virgin Islands (out of Tortola), St Maarten/St Bart's/Anguilla, St Vincent/Grenadine Islands, circumnavigating Antigua, and the coastal islands off of Belize, Greece, or Egypt Red Sea! Spend a week aboard with your Captain and Gourmet Chef/Hostess on a 45-55' luxury cruising catamaran with 6 other guests and be pampered with 3 meals a day and unlimited beverages included. Each cabin sleeps 2 adults (minimum age 16) and has its own private bathroom and shower. Sailing 1 ½ - 2 hours in the morning after breakfast, and then again in the afternoon for 2-3 hours more to enjoy the Caribbean like it was meant to be experienced - right out there in the gorgeous turquoise waters under a shining Caribbean sun, or a starry night sitting topside sharing conversation with the other guests and your crew. Scuba divers will have opportunities to dive several times during the week for an additional fee. And snorkel opportunities abound! All inclusive program is mandatory.
Another beautiful resort in the local area is Nettle Bay Beach Club. There are four lovely bays on this part of Nettle Baie, where this charmingly French hotel is located. Situated on an overgrown sand bar not far from the town of Marigot, these little peach-colored bungalows are arranged in small semi-circles, overlooking the calm azure waters facing north. Adjacent to each bay there's a pool, plus a tennis court for the whole complex. On the waterfront is the lovely La Parilla Restaurant.
