Harbor Hill is located atop the sand dunes of Cape Cod. Harbor Hill Resort is located just minutes from the entrance and beautiful beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore. While the resort provides limited on-site amenities, Provincetown attractions will keep you busy in season. You can also enjoy the solitude of the off season. Provincetown is best known for its beaches, whale- watching attractions, shops and gallaries, and its acceptance of alternate lifestyles. In addition, local marinas offer boat rentals and fishing charters. If you like this area you may want to try Sandcastle Condominiums. Located halfway between town and Herring Cove Beach, Harbor Hill Resort offers a great place to unwind once you've returned from the bustle of downtown's Commercial Street, the beach, or a bike ride through the beach forest.
Looking for something to do visit the Pilgrim Monument. Few people know that the Pilgrims first struck land in Provincetown, on November 21, 1620, before continuing on to Plymouth. While anchored in Provincetown Harbor, the Pilgrims signed the Mayflower Compact, dedicating themselves to a community governed by rudimentary democratic rule. This tower was built in 1910 to commemorate that landing, and a climb to the top affords one of the best views on the entire Cape.
