Silverleaf's Piney Shores Resort is located an hour from Houston, Texas and lies on the shoreline of Lake Conroe, a 22,000-acre man-made lake, offering peaceful relaxation in rustic log cabins set against a backdrop of wooded serenity. Lake Conroe boasts fantastic water sports including fishing, skiing, sailing and boating. Native game fish are black bass, catfish and crappie. Silverleaf's Piney Shores Resort offers two bedroom timeshare units. Nearby attractions are: Conroe - The Conroe Outlet Center houses 80 retail shops and is just three miles from the resort. Houston - The Johnson Space Center is the largest research and development facility of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). As the focal point for the manned space flight program, it attracts nearly a million visitors annually. A Houston shopping experience is the Traders' Village, a bargain hunter's paradise with more than 40 acres of markets, concession stands, children's rides and year-round special events. At the famed Galleria Mall some products and prices are beyond imagination. The Houston Museum of Natural Science exhibits space age science, geology, archeology and natural history. Galveston - From sandy beaches to the Strand Historic District, Galveston Island is the Texas Gulf Coast's most charming seaside escape.
