Fort Brown Condoshares is located at the tip of Texas in the semitropical Rio Grande Valley of Texas, just a short distance from the Mexican border. Swim in the resort's heated outdoor pool or relax in the on-site whirlpool. Popular beaches of South Padre Island are just 23 miles away providing an array of aquatic activities from deep sea fishing to scuba diving. The resort is situated on the grounds of the historic battlefield of the Mexican-American War. Rich in history, Brownsville offers many sights from the battlefield to the famous Gladys Porter Zoo. All of the units at the two story Fort Brown Condoshares have air conditioning, cable TV, telephones, and a full kitchen with dishwasher. One bedroom units offer one bath, one king size bed, and 1 sleeper sofa for a maximum occupancy of four. The two bedroom units accommodate a maximum of six with one bath, one king size bed, two twin beds, and one sleeper sofa. Resort facilities include beach, water skiing, lake, fishing, heated swimming pool, golf, horseback riding, whirlpool/hot tub, live entertainment, telephone, grocery store, laundry, medical facilities, restaurant, and shopping area.
