The Marriott Custom House is situated one block from Long Wharf which is near the New England Aquarium. This is perhaps Boston's most physically prominent hotel, and it is visible from nearly every corner of the city. It offers outstanding views from the upper floors. Part of Marriott's timeshare division, these units are geared toward long-stays and families who appreciate the all-suite accommodation with kitchenettes.
While in Boston there are many things to do and easily accessible by the T, the subway system in Boston. Close to the Marriott Custom House is Faneuil Hall Market Place, which is one of America's most famous shopping and dining experiences, with street comedians and musicians, a gazillion types of food to try and the like. At night, it's one of Boston's key locations for pubs and bars abound (it's also home to the Comedy Connection, Boston's largest comedy venue). Less than a block away from Quincy Market is Haymarket. This unique outdoor food market, open every Friday and Saturday from roughly dawn to dusk, is as much street theater as a place to get fresh vegetables, fruit and fish. You could also have dinner at the North End which specializes in Italian cuisine or enjoy the many seafood restaurants. If you have the time go to Fenway Park and take in a Red Sox game. Take a trolley tour and see all the historic events that occurred in Boston.
