Bolton Valley is a full-service, four-season destination resort on 6,000 private, wooded acres surrounded by the Green Mountains of Vermont. With six lifts, and 61 trails covering 165 acres of skiable terrain, Bolton offers something for every level of skier. Snowmakers and groomers work seven days a week to ensure the best possible conditions. Lift lines are rare and the trails uncrowded. Bolton boasts 105 km of cross-country skiing terrain, featuring some of the best conditions in the Northeast as a result of its high base elevation of 2,001 feet. It is the largest cross country trail system on private land in New England. To provide the greatest variety, one-third of the trail network is groomed and tracked, while the rest is preserved in its natural state. Bolton Valley ski resort is the only full-service ski resort on private land in New England. Mountain Green Resort is another resort that might interest you if skiing is your thing.
The truly unique feature of Bolton Valley is the accessibility of all the resort's amenities. Most of the lodging features ski-in, ski-out convenience and all of the dining and sports facilities are no more than a short walk from your room.There are several restaurants are within walking distance of each other and the lodge. From classic French to family-style pizza, you will find a range of eateries to choose from and a nightly variety of live entertainment and activities for all ages.
