Another resort on the island is La Luna. La Luna is located almost midway down the east coast of Fuerteventura. The Resort is 500m from the beach, located in a wide cove very safe for the children. There is also a first class marine sports centre. The island has exceptionally good conditions for windsurfing. The temperatures are not extreme, the average annual temperature is 25C. La Luna is very close to the modern commercial centres, restaurants and bars. A local Market is held weekly 250m from the resort. La Luna offers studio, one, and two bedroom units.
