Galleon Beach is situated at Freeman's Bay in English Harbour on the southern tip of Antigua in the heart of the National Park. The surrounding area is a beautiful blend of white sandy beaches, rolling hills, tropical vegetation, marine life, nautical atmosphere, and historical sites. Our accommodations consist of one and two-bedroom cottages, which are located either in the landscaped garden or directly on a quarter mile beach. Galleon Beach is serviced by friendly, attentive staff and situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Antigua. Each one and two bedroom cottage has its own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room/dining room, patio or balcony and safe. Constant trade wind breezes combined with ceiling fans help keep the cottages cool all year round. Each three and four bedroom Villa has its own fully equipped kitchen, A/C, beautiful ocean views, and a private pool. If you need to communicate with home or business, telephone, Internet & Wifi service is available at Reception during opening hours for a fee. Cellular phone rental can also be arranged through Reception. The reef is merely 75 yards from the beach where guests can explore a profusion of tropical fish and coral. Galleon Beach has two tennis courts for day play only. We also operate a daily complimentary ferry service to and from Nelson's Dockyard.
Another resort on the island is Jolly Harbour Marina & Golf Resort. Jolly Harbour Marina & Golf Resort has something for everyone-- including a variety of water sports, an 18-hole championship golf course, a tennis/sports complex, shopping center, and six restaurants. Enjoy the hospitality of the Antiguan people and sample international cuisine at the restaurants and pubs. At the end of the day, relax in comfort in your waterfront villa and enjoy the Caribbean sunset.
