The Sands Resort is located just one block away from the Atlantic ocean with miles of white sandy beach and the famous Hampton Beach Boardwalk which offers activities for all ages. The boardwalk features many restaurants, lounges and dance clubs plus arcades games of chance, all types of discount stores and every kind of food stand imaginable. Plus there is a wonderful children's playground centrally located on the beach front.
During the summer, free entertainment and concerts are held every night at the Sea Shell Stage in the center of Hampton Beach. An outstanding fireworks display is presented every Wednesday evening as well as a spectacular fireworks show Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend and the Saturday night of the Seafood Festival in September. The Hampton Beach area also offers whale watching trips, boat rides to the famous Isle of Shoals, deep sea fishing, wind surfing, jet skiing, parasailing, trolley service and more. Hampton is only 10 minutes from Historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 15 minutes from Newburyport, Mass. and only 20 minutes to the popular Kittery Maine Factory Outlet shopping area.
