Historic Tamarack Lodge and Resort has been welcoming guests to the shores of Twin Lakes since 1924. Tamarack Lodge and Resort is ideal for ski holidays, summer vacations, family gatherings and romantic getaways. Cabins and lodge rooms range from rustic simplicity to deluxe accommodations. Eleven lodge rooms and 34 cabins are nestled in a timeless, romantic setting just 2.5 miles yet a world away from town. Room sizes range from one bed, shared bath lodge rooms to three bedroom cabins. All lodge rooms and cabins are non-smoking. Pets are welcome in summer months. There are no televisions in lodge rooms and cabins, although a limited number of TV/VCRs are available for rent through the front desk. Wireless internet access is available. The Lakefront Restaurant serves the Eastern Sierra's finest food in an intimate setting. Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center has 19 miles of groomed trails. Tamarack hosts weddings and special events. Tamarack Lodge & Resort is located in California's beautiful Eastern Sierra mountains, several miles out of the town of Mammoth Lakes on Lake Mary Road.
Another beautiful resort is Pinestead Reef-VIP. Pinestead Reef Resort-VIP, located on the East Arm of Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay, features 700 feet of private beach. Within walking distance you can rent a Jet Ski or other water-sports equipment. Summer activities in the area include golfing, hiking, bicycling, sight-seeing, horseback riding, and canoeing. Winter has plenty to offer for Alpine and Nordic skiers. Non-skiers may want to try ice fishing, ice-skating, and snowmobiling.
