Located in Jackman, Mountainview Resort is a 40-acre vacation ownership property along the scenic route to Quebec City. The Moose River Valley offers four seasons of entertainment. Winter enthusiasts will enjoy snowmobiling on the area's award winning trail system. Within an hour's drive, you can ski down one of the highest peaks in the state. Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and ice fishing are just some of the winter activities located nearby. Springtime brings landlocked salmon and brook trout fishing. Fishermen will find it difficult to fish all local ponds in one season even hitting a different pond every day. The Kennebec and Dead Rivers are some of Maine's best for White-water Rafting enthusiasts. The 34 mile Moose River Bow trip is a must for all kayakers and canoeists. Moose, bear, deer, bird, and coyote abound amongst the palette of colorful mountains throughout the fall. Fall foliage is not to be missed.
