Sandcastle Condominiums provides plenty of opportunity for you to enjoy several activities. You can play tennis, volleyball, and shuffleboard on site or take a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools. Visit nearby Herring Cove Beach for a day of fun and sun. Stroll along the shore of Race Point Beach at sunset. Charter a fishing boat or whale- watching tour in this colorful area so rich in history. Poised at the tip of Cape Cod, jutting far out into the Atlantic, Provincetown is geographically unique, literally surrounded by water with the Atlantic on one side, and the Cape Cod Bay on the other. If you like this area, you may want to try Eastwood at Provincetown. The town is bordered by vast stretches of open dunes, pine and scrub oak forests, beaches, and open sea. The history here in Provincetown is a fascinating tale of booms, busts, and wild characters. Don't wait for a rainy day to be tempted by Provincetown's upscale shops, gourmet dining, and museums and galleries. Take a trolley, airplane, horse, or buggy tour of the area, visit the Whydah Museum and Provincetown Art Association, or bike among the dunes. Provincetown is a unique and exciting resort town.
While at Sandcastle Condominiums, visit Race Point Beach in Provincetown was recently listed as the sixth best beach location in the US, and dramatic Race Point may be one reason why. Here the Cape Cod Bay waters meet wild Atlantic Ocean waves to create a roiling surge called "The Race." Not always safe for small boats, it's probably no accident that this beach contains the Race Point Lifesaving Museum. But it is well guarded in season, has a bath house, and is an overall good location for sunning and swimming.
