The Maverick has an on-site restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, a year-round heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, and men's and women's saunas. In addition, there are shuffleboard courts, gas grills for your convenience, and a low-cost amenities package that includes bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas to help you enjoy the sand and surf! Fishing, boating, golf, and tennis are available in the local area. Disney World, St. Augustine, and the Kennedy Space Center are a short drive. Ormond Beach is an ideal location for a myriad of water activities. Water and jet skiing, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing can all be enjoyed in the surrounding waters, while the shore offers the sun-seeker miles of white sand beaches for relaxation. Fishing, boating, parasailing, and tennis are available in the area, with a swimming pool, sauna, and exercise equipment on site. Popular Florida sports include dog racing, and auto racing is celebrated year-round at the Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500. Local attractions include the Ormond Beach Tennis Center, Pirate's Cove Mini Golf, Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens, and Oceanside Golf & Country Club.

Boating, fishing, and tennis are all nearby. There are many golf courses nearby. All of the Orlando attractions are about an hour away- Disney World, Sea World, Cypress Gardens, St. Augustine, and Kennedy Space Center.
