The Whaler is a luxury condominium resort located directly on the white sands of Kaanapali Beach. Deluxe one bedroom, two bath condominiums offer a lovely tropical decor and the location is perfect-great ocean views and just steps to pool and beach. Truly a "home away from home". This resort is only 3 miles from historic Lahaina town where a myriad of activities await you. Next door at The Whaler's Village there are numerous shops and restaurants for your convenience. World class golf and hotel resorts are minutes away. Kaanapali Beach is a very popular beach, right in the heart of the large resort community which is Kaanapali. Any activity from surfing to snorkeling to parasailing can be found off this beach just about year around. The Banyan Tree (ficus benghalensis) has been a Lahaina landmark for more than 12 decades. The tree has spread over the area via aerial roots which, when they reach the ground, grow into thick trunks. The Lahaina Banyan Tree is the largest in the United States. It's hard to believe that this tree was planted only a little over a hundred years ago, and is so large now that it has to be supported in various places. The tree is a good landmark in Lahaina, being located directly across from the Wharf Cinema Center and right next to the Pioneer Inn near the harbor on Front Street.
Another resort in the area you may like is Sands of Kahana. Sands of Kahana is located on the beach north of Lahaina on the island Maui in Hawaii. Sands of Kahana is located on Maui's west coast between the resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. Spacious apartments with private lanai offer breathtaking ocean views. Sporting and recreation activities abound at the resort, including two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, beach volleyball and three lighted tennis courts. Golf is nearby as well as fishing, boating and all water sports.
