Barrier Island Station is nestled amid sand dunes and sea oats in Duck, NC. One of the northernmost communities on the Outer Banks, Duck offers some of the last remaining unspoiled beachfronts on the Eastern seaboard. Both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound offer excellent water sports opportunities. The resort has many amenities, including sailboats, windsurfs, and rafts. When it's time for a change from the oceanfront, you can swim in the indoor or outdoor pools, play a set of tennis, enjoy the game room or just relax in the whirlpool, sauna, or steam room. Barrier Island Station - Duck is situated on the northern side of town on a strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound.
