Boyne Mountain is for everyone--true outdoorsmen, people who love to shop and enjoy fine dining with fabulous views of pristine mountains and forests, those who enjoy the serenity of cross-country skiing or the excitement of snowboarding. In summertime, take your pick of fishing, boating and canoeing, sailing, lake or pool swimming, tennis or golf--or hike or bike some of the prettiest trails you've ever imagined. Set in northwest Michigan, Boyne Mountain is close to Lake Michigan's turquoise waters, famous dunes, and endless beaches as well as to sizeable inland lakes like Charlevoix, Walloon, and Torch. Enjoy delightful dining with a view of the mountains at the on-site restaurant, or drive 15 minutes to casinos, shopping, and other activities and restaurants. A day trip to Mackinac Island, the site of Fort Mackinac, is one you'll never forget. Take one of the high-speed ferries to the island, and explore by bicycle or ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Don't forget to sample the fudge! The 5-mile-long "Big Mac" bridge from Mackinac City brings you to St. Ignace in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Other great day trips include visits to the towns of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Traverse City and Gaylord.

Another beautiful resort is Sunset Shores Resort.Sunset Shores Resort is set on the south shore of Lake Cadillac. The units are lakefront and offer two full baths, a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. This resort has a private boat launch, boat docks, sandy beach, and a sandy play area. There are 11 area golf courses, and just 15 minutes' drive from Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort.
