The Grand Summit Resort Hotel is slopeside to Sunday River Ski Resort with New England's most dependable snow.
At Sunday River you'll find plenty of activities and recreational options in addition to skiing and snowboarding. The on-mountain White Cap Fun Center offers two lighted, lift-serviced tubing runs for hours of snowtubing fun! You'll find an ice skating rink at the White Cap Fun Center open days and evenings, with skate rentals available. Bethel also has a rink on the town common located at the top of Main Street.
River View Resort is another resort you may enjoy if you like this area.If you visit in the summer there are many activities you can enjoy. The Grand Summit Resort Hotel offers daily moose and wildlife tours, introduction to fly fishing clinics every Monday at 4:30pm, and white water rafting trips on Wednesdays. Hikers will find a variety of options ranging from short day trips to multi-day wilderness excursions. Mount Will, just over a mile east of the turn for Sunday River Road, is a short loop trail with great views of the Androscoggin Valley. Nearby Evan's Notch State Park offers a range of day hikes. Grafton Notch State Park is home to several easily accessable waterfalls.
