Club Alegria is located on Fuerteventura, the second largest of the Canary Islands which until recently has remained off the tourist map. The west coast is rugged and rocky; the eastern coast however, has fine, sandy beaches. The resort is in the El Castillo area, on the eastern side and offers a range of water-sports and an attractive marina. A large complex adjacent to the beach offers restaurants, bars and shops. Club Alegria is 5 miles from the Fuerteventura airport. Unit accommodations include studio for two, one bedroom supporting four and two bedroom for six persons. Unit amenities include partial/mini/full kitchen and microwave. Resort amenities include auto rental, children's pool, grocery store, live entertainment, shopping area, snack bar, swimming pool, and telephone. Nearby activities include the beach, fishing, medical facilities, restaurants, tennis, water skiing, and wind surfing.
Another resort on the island is Galleon Beach . Galleon Beach is located in Antigua in the Caribbean. The grounds are extensive - 20 acres with a variety of tropical vegetation, flowers and trees as well as a large lawn in the center of the property. The elevation provides stunning views over English Harbour, Freeman's Bay and Charlotte's Point. The resort offers a complimentary ferry service during the day to Nelson's Dockyard and English Harbour. Just 75 feet offshore is a small reef which you can explore. Two tennis courts are available to guests. Bookings are made through Reception. Galleon Beach offer one and two bedroom cottages and three and four bedroom villas.
