Post a resort review for WIVC Coral Mar

Katy Ellis

My husband and I stayed at the Coral Mar for our honeymoon, Dec. 14-21 2003. The week at Coral Mar was a gift from a family friend who is a member of the timeshare. Coral Mar is nice, but far from a lot of things. It is about a 2 mile walk to town. You have to take a taxi or walk to the beach, as the resort sits on the lagoon a nd you cannot swim in the lagoon. If you're just looking to sun yourself, they have a makeshift beach with lounge chairs on the property. The restaurant on site is good, we ate there a lot. We ventured out quite a few times. The tours are great to go on, and the prices are very competitive. We went to Xel-Ha and Tulum and on the Jungle Tour! The week was awesome though, and we wouldn't trade it for the wold
