good resort, great family fun. lots of good resturants in area. stay away from company called travel suite across street behind 7/11 store. rip off company offering nothing but taking your money. the will call your room offering you gas coupons or resturant coupons.

I own 3 units at this resort; it's a good family resort. The ocean view is wonderful. Been going to this resort for 8 years. the pool is heated and is big in size. The only big complaint issue i have is that people come out early in the morning and reserve chairs by putting towels on them. There are signs posted but resort doesn’t enforce it. These chairs should be for family with small kids so parents can watch them in the water. The housekeeping do a pretty good job in cleaning rooms for the amount of turn around time. the overall resort is and older building but do a pretty go job on appearance. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and lunch at price the will not break you. Some kids activities would like to see more for them.

The hotel was very nice and they have wonderful customer service. I loved the fact that the beach was'nt over crowded it was perfect. We also drove into Orlando which is only an hour away. You get the best of both worlds, the beach and the attractions. We can't wait to visit in 2007.

My week is between race week and bike week. Every 4 years it falls on race day. I am on the 5th fllor and can sit on the front walk of unit and watch all the bikers come into town. The units are very nice and well kept, personell are allways friendly and the Maverick is within walking distance of the boardwalk in Daytona. There are some great restaurants within just a few miles.

Our week is right on the top floor. Amenities include private balcony, heated pool, resturant, free use of umbrella/chair, free shuttle to casino, minutes to Daytona Beach, 1-1/2 hours to Orlando attractions, on-site activities, private/quiet.
