Timeshare owners are incredibly satisfied with their resort and purchase. Based on recent Price Waterhouse surveys and reported by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), over 85% are satisfied with amenities, construction quality, hospitality, and general upkeep of their resort.

What motivates most timeshare owners to actually purchase a timeshare unit? Almost 90% cite overall flexibility as a very important attribute.

Did you know that about 30% of timeshare owners would like to purchase more timeshare weeks? Most of those thinking about purchasing additional units would like to be near the beach (60%) and attractions/entertainment (43%). (note: respondents allowed to choose more than 1 attribute).

Florida is, by far, the most popular state for timeshares, with 380 resorts (24%). California and South Carolina both have about 120 resorts (7%) while Hawaii boasts almost 100 resorts (6%).
