All units feature a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, garage parking, and high speed Internet access for a fee. Enjoy cocktails or a quiet meal at the Sea Shell Point Restaurant on-site at Kona Coast Resort. Afterward, take a dip in one of the two swimming pools or relax in one of the three whirlpools. Play a game of volleyball or tennis, use the resort's putting green, or play a full round of golf at the nearby Kona Country Club. Stop into "Splash" for on-site beach and equipment rentals. Experience the thrill of playing with dolphins at Dolphin Quest on the Big Island. Choose from a variety of programs including feeding the dolphins, meeting the dolphins face-to-face, and a behind-the-scenes training adventure. If you prefer to get your adrenaline rush from caffeine, visit the Holualoa Kona Coffee Company. You'll enjoy the scenic drive on Mamalahoa Highway through the prized Kona coffee belt.

Unlike piers in other cities, the waters alongside Kailua Pier are pristine, clear, and inviting. In fact you will often see people swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking right next to the pier. A fitness-oriented town, you will find many people of all ages jogging or swimming as early as sunrise.
