Cedar Cove Beach and Yacht Club is charming, safe, quiet, and fun. This resort offers you a vacation in the wonderful little historic town of Cedar Key, which is located south of the Panhandle in the northern part of Florida. Rooms are available in studio, 1 and 2 bedrooms, with the largest sleeping 6 comfortably. Amenities include beach, boating, fishing, swimming pool, health club, and hot tub. The resort offers a conference center and a world class restaurant. Cedar Key is a two-mile island in the Gulf of Mexico. Museums, gift shops, art galleries, historic home tours, island hopping, bird-watching, fishing, and great dining are all nearby. Bicycles and street-legal golf cart rentals are available. Charter boats are at the city-owned marina.

If you want more alternative excitement, drive across the state to the Residence Club Lighthouse. The Residence Club at Lighthouse Pointe is in beautiful Amelia Island just north of Jacksonville on the Atlantic Ocean. The Residence Club has 40 individual and uniquely decorated 4-bedroom homes. Residence Club at Lighthouse Pointe is a plantation-style community that is for those who enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and tennis. Members have access to a beach club, multiple restaurants, croquet and tennis courts and an association to four golf courses in the area.
