The Island Manor Resort features both Studio and One Bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens. Gas and charcoal barbecue grills with picnic tables are available for your enjoyment, as well as a playground area for the children. Dine out at one of the Island's many fine restaurants, or enjoy a meal prepared right in the privacy of your own suite. Block Island is located about twelve miles off the Rhode Island coast. If you like this area, you may want to try Neptune Vacation Club. To reach the island you must take a ferry or a small plane. Once you arrive, you will be overwhelmed by the islands elegant beauty and small town charm. Activities include biking, parasailing, hiking on the many nature trails and beaches, sunbathing, kayaking, shopping, horseback & moped riding. A car is not always necessary due to the small size of the island (seven miles by three miles).
Every visit to Block Island includes a perusing of the shops along the main streets in Old Habor where it's easy to find books, clothing, jewelry and more. The main strip presents a variety of gifts shops featuring island essentials and unique goods from local vendors.And if you can't find what you're looking for there, what you need can't be more than just around the corner. Everything you need can be found on-island.
